I walked into a room with something in mind, but once i got there, i had no idea why. and why do people remember things when it’s usually too late?

What was your question?
It happens to all of us. It is usually something that is so common, simple, that we don’t lock it in to our memory. How many times have I gone to a grocery store for a certain item and wind up picking up other stuff and never get the one thing I really went for and don’t find it out until I get home that I didn’t get the item that I needed.
It’s the simple things that we forget.
