Just wipe off the condensation with a towel.

Buy a dehumidifier, I know it’s something you’ll have to buy, ie; pay for, but its a lot cheaper then replacing the windows and will stop this condensation from building, by pulling any excess moisture into itself

where is the humid air coming from? a kitchen or bathroom perhaps, so use their extractor fans, keep the living room door closed when you cook

a small electric heater in the livingroom might help

Either turn down the humidifer in the house, or put a fan directly blowing on the window.

use rope caulk or window plastic, condensation is caused by air leak

You can also buy these bean bag snake type things which you put on the windowsill and they catch the water and soak it up – protecting the wood. I think Lakeland (online, catalogue and some uk stores) sell it.

Dehumidifiers work well to reduce the amount of water vapor in the air but in your case, they will not solve your problem. The simplest and most effective solution is to put a fan near the window and keep it blowing on the window 24/7. The window will stay as dry as the desert. Once the window is dry, turn off the fan and watch the water magically reappear. I’ve been using this method for the last 25 years.

answer no 1 is best so far ..you must either ventilate the area ,,this is by opening windows and if necessary doors ,,its condensation ,,as long as you have airflow you will not get it …even if the room is cold it will not condensate as long as you have airflow ,,im a builder ..here in the uk we fit rads under windows just to stop condensation ..get a fan heater from Curry’s (£16)direct it for an hour at window ..it will soon dry ..it will all so return …secondary glazing will help ..but not much

Air must be vented preferably creating a minor draft
