  1. Due to the terrible economy, I’m considering relocating to another area to find work. I’m thinking about traveling to multiple cities/states, and staying a couple weeks in each one to explore the opportunities each might offer. Does anyone out there know of a reliable site or service that provides short term house, or even apartment rentals? I’m thinking 1-2 weeks in each location, but no more than a month! I just really don’t want to stay in a hotel for weeks at a time! :-) Thanks for the help!! :-) PantherFan asked:...
  2. I’m looking for accommodation for a long weekend in Edinburgh and have seen a the site for 16 Waterloo Place which looks great – http://www.qualitystreetcity.com/edinburgh I’ve never stayed in serviced apartments before (I had never even heard of them up until this point) and wondered if anyone had ever stayed in this place and if it’s as good a deal as it sounds. Any comments welcome (I’m traveling up in early April so need to book quite soon). Thanks. David Simm asked:...

Could be 6 – 8 weeks. Has the lender appointed someone to handle the file? If not, that could drag it out longer.

Did you offer under the list price? Did you ask for any credit at closing for closing costs? Those are things that may not work.

If you’re in a hurry, you probably should not get involved with a Short Sale.

it can take weeks or even months. It depends on the offer and if there is a 1st and 2nd mortgage.
