Rent an apartment in England for a few months?
If I came to England for a few months under the proper vistor’s visa (6 months) could I rent an apartment if i found a short-term lease or would I have to stay in a hotel the whole time? I know sometimes to rent you have to show proof of a bank account in England, etc. Does that apply here?

The landlord/agent will ask for references and there will probably be a charge for this, as you do not have a job in the country you may struggle.
Most agents ask for the 6 months up front so they know they are guaranteed the rent for tenants who have no proof of earnings.
You need to provide a passport or driving licence and a utility bill that’s no older than 3 months that’s in your name and to the address that you reside in now.

Don’t worry there is thousand and thousand of room,house and apartment for rent in London and all over England.Just go to visit or london property to let.at this economy you don’t need so much proof.just pass port and money.
And make sure you are not illegal or doing illegal thing.

It’s probably easiest to find a share situation where you don’t have to go through credit checks, etc and can find short term leases.
