propose to pay his part of the rent and she will kick him out (maybe) or find someone else for sub rent. if u can’t find any practical way to help her my sincere advice stay shut. and by the way, who said he vacates apartment when she comes? she? yeah, right, he “vacates” the apartment. give me a break

The fact that her ex left before her arrival… it only means that nothing fishy is going on.
What I can see is that they just simply remain friends and respect each other.
The reason why she pays part of it is that … she doesn’t want to lose the apartment for her future needs.
There is nothing wrong if you talk to her and discuss the matter with you.
For love to succeed… you should trust your partner.
At the end of the day… you know her better than anybody else.
